# Width

The width brush lets you brush the width of the strands. The magnitude slider determines if the width should be wider or narrower. The default magnitude of each strand is 0.5 upon creation. Use the Width Range slider under the layer settings to adjust the maximum and minimum length that is painter by the brush.&#x20;
